3:16. ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೇ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿಜವಾದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯೆಂದರೇನೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ನಾವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡೆವು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹೋದರ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರಾದವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾವೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.

3:16. ಆತನು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಇಂಥದ್ದೆಂದು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಸಹ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ಹಂಗಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

3:16. We have come to know love by this: that Jesus laid down his life for us; thus we ought to lay down our lives for our fellow Christians.
